The Bernard van Leer Foundation is an international, philanthropic, and professional organization in The Netherlands. The foundation concentrates its philanthropic efforts on low-cost, community-based projects in early childhood education, supporting families and those children who may be culturally or socially disadvantaged. The Foundation publishes a newsletter that covers a variety of topics of international interest, including the effects of violence on children and international examples of programs that support families and communities. Donations are welcome.
